Easily set the folders and files (extensions) you want to protect.

A feature is provided that can search the Web for the module names and hash values of programs making access.
Instead of simply blocking access when an unapproved program attempts to access a protected folder or file, it is redirected to a fake folder. Folders and files of no value are created virtually, which causes viruses to determine that they have been processed normally.
Programs important to Windows and programs already registered in the Start Menu are automatically whitelisted. Users can easily edit this list.
Vigilance does not stop even when a program has been granted access. Each time the program requests access, the program file itself is checked to determine whether it has been altered. This program identity check protects you against attacks from programs that have undergone unauthorized alterations.
Even a program that has been approved for access is at risk of unauthorized alterations, so AEGISGUARD is capable of checking the digital signatures of program files. If a signature that can be trusted is attached to a program file, access is automatically approved for that program.
